General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

According to your narration this relates to neurotic origin/ligament stretch/sprain. Certain basic guidelines would help you right now:
• Apply ice pack and heating pad alternately over the painful area
• Keep the leg elevated over 2 to 3 pillows when resting
• Avoid excess weight bearing
• Take Tylenol stat dose with green tea or coffee

Consult your primary care provider later once pain is relieved to at least half extent for the further evaluation and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
