What Causes Severe Pain In The Upper Abdomen?

I am visiting in north California, I started to have severe pain in uppper colon area, then pain every time I went to the bathroom. Is there any over the counter medicine I can take until I get home to Florida Wednesday. I ve had diverticulitis several times, it s similar to my pain.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, more precisely it could be the upper abdomen pain and most of the time it is due to gastritis due to hyperacidity or dyspepsia it is very unlikely that pain start at the time of voiding, still the symptoms can be managed with Tab Dicyclomine with Acetaminophen as per needed with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in diet, care needs to be taken for diet, avoid taking spicy oily food hope this information helps.
