What Causes Severe Pain In The Upper Left Abdomen?

Hi, I have a really horrible pain in my upper abdomen, it s my left side and more to the side rather than front of my body. I can t get comfortable, nor can I ease the pain. It came very suddenly a couple of hours ago and is causing me great discomfort and even causing me to cry. Is there anything to ease the pain even a little bit?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

You are having upper left sided abdominal pain...

It might be gastritis or there might be renal colic .....So kidney stone also has to be ruled out....

So your initial work up needed with USG abdomen....

According to cause further treatment can be guided....

If it is gastric pain than omeprazole given for two week...

Take care

Physician consultation advisable for examination and further work up
