What Causes Severe Pain In The Wrists?

I have pain in my right wrist. I am right-handed. It started at least a year ago and was inconsistent. It would get worse with use, such as lifting grocery bags, shoveling snow, the satchel I used daily for working. In the last few months, it has become constant. There is no swelling or stiffness, or reduced ROM, just low level constant pain/ache. Tylenol does nothing to alleviate, sometimes Alleve works or at least dulls it. Was taking Diclofenac 75 mg. for a shoulder issue and noticed that helped take most of the pain away if used constantly or at least 1x/day. I would put the pain at a 3-4, yet I would think OTC drugs would alleviate that. Thinking its just arthritis and have to live with it. But maybe not?

Hello,

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
