What Causes Severe Pain In Upper Back And Upper Chest Area?

This is a chronic problem and re-occurs every so often, I have bad pain in my upper back right through to my upper chest. I know its gastric related because I have acid reflux. I vomit sometimes or have dry heaves and the pain remains. I take tums to no avail and then I use Ranidine tabs which helps more. This is on its third day and I have no insurance so I can t go to the doctor. Do you think its gall bladder or esophageal?

Based on your history it looks like Gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
However, Angina can mimic similar symptoms.
So please get an ECG done. Otherwise, PPIs and diet management will help for your symptoms.
