What Causes Severe Pain In Upper Stomach, Sulfur Burps And Blood In Stool?

Hi, My husband has been experiencing a lot of pain in his upper stomach diaphragm area and sulfur burps, bright red bloody stool and sometimes just blood like hes peeing blood out of his rectum. I am at a loss of what it may be. could it be stomach ulcers? Thank you Melissa

Hello,

If the blood is red, the hemorrhage is probably in the rectum or in the anal area. A colonoscopy is needed to confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment.
