What Causes Severe Pain In Vaginal Area Suddenly During Pregnancy?
Hi Doctor,
I am 6 months pregnant yesterday evening washed few clothes with hand, post that when stood up after some time my vaginal area started aching severely and I am not able to walk properly. My gyne is not available. What should I do?

Hi, I understand your concern. - look for abdominal cramps/ down wards pressure / increased vaginal discharge.. if it's there you need to see some other gynecologist for internal check up & advise. - The sudden local pain in vaginal area in pregnancy on bending down & physical exertion.. It can be due to pulling/ stretching of ligament joining pubic bones. You need rest. avoid bending/ exertion. Pain killers ( ibuprofen- paracetamol ) over counter can be taken after food.Do not massage/ foment. Tests to assess serum calcium & vitamin D should be done with supplements as per need. Thanks.
