What Causes Severe Pain On Both Sides?

i have suffered severe pains on both my sides lately; this pain lasts about 3-4 days and returns every couple of weeks. i was prescribed pythedine and told by one doctor i have renal colic. Over the last two days i have experienced the same pain only this time i also have severe pain in my stomach. I have urinated twice in the last two days, have been sick and when passing a bowel movement the food I have eaten is passing undigested. My doctor today prescribed morphine 10mg to be taken four times daily but didnt say what was wrong and added he thinks i dont have renal colic but thinks it may be my liver. Where do i go from here?
