Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain in case if you have a cracked molar and if the cap is placed on it without
root canal treatment, then there is a possibility that the nerves are exposed leading to
nerve irritation and pain..
It can lead to
radiating pain to the temple and jaw..
Secondly it can be due to TMJ which can be due to acute pain caused due to displaced articular disc or dislocation of lower jaw..
For confirmation you need to get a Panoromic x ray done after getting the temporary cap removed..
It will help in evaluating the jaw joints and also the tooth..
In case if it is due to tooth then either Root Canal Treatment or extraction of the tooth depending on condition of tooth can help followed by antibiotics and painkillers..
In case of jaw joint related problem
muscle relaxant and painkillers along with
Physiotherapy and soft diet can be advised..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
