What Causes Severe Pain On The Left Side Of The Face?
thanks my wife have been suffering from sever pain in her left side of her face when she goes to sleep, she have been taking aleve wich work for a hours, she already have blood test and mri,the result were negative, nothing on her brain, the blood test show hig level of sugar, however no improvement so far she can barely rest at night, thanks so much
Severe pain on left side of face can be due to causes like tooth infection or tooth decay while it can also be due to network e related problem or Trigeminal Neuralgia.. Other cause can be sinus problems or Sinusitis or jaw joint related problems.. So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated.. If there is no problems ruled out related to TMJ or teeth then it can be due to nerve related problem.. In that case a Neurologist can help.. For Neuralgia you can be advised neurotic painkillers like Carbamazipine, Gabapantin, baclofen etc..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
