What Causes Severe Pain On The Outside Of The Calf?
A little over a year ago as I stepped on a sidewalk I heard a loud pop and had severe pain on the outside of calf about 3-4 inches below knee. I had an MRI and they could find nothing other than meniscus, which I had repaired last October. The outside of the calf in the same area pop came from I still have occasional swelling and mild discomfort. 3-4 maybe once a month. What would you suggest?

According to the history you provide the next step in my opinion is to do a head CT scan to exclude exactly if there is a problem inside your head.If negative than no worries probably it is related to the menisc itself
