What Causes Severe Pain On The Right Side Of The Body?

Hi, My husband start 10 days ago with a sever pain in his right site of his body, just under neath his rib. Difficult to breath, cough or sneeze. Can t lift his arm. He does not like to go to doctor s. Eventualy he visit a doctor on Saturday. The radiologist report. There are structural changes in the lung fields in keeping with background COPD changes. There are bilateral perihllar and basal infiltrates with early consolidation of the lung bases in keeping with secondary infective changes He is do smoke over 50 years. He is working for 45 years in the avionic industry. We are still waiting for the doctor to contact us. The doctor gave him inflamatory medication and pain killers. Do we have reason to be concerned. Hi,

If it is a confirmed COPD on the scans then it is controllable with medicines and lung exercises and also stop smoking eventually. If there is no mass on the scans then we don't need to worry much.
