What Causes Severe Pain Under The Breast Post Injury From A Fall?

I fell rather hard at work on my right side and now I have pretty severe pain underneath my right breast. When I am up and walking around I feel ok, but when I lie down the pain is severe, I cant turn over without having to hold my breast and there is a tightness I am not familiar with. What might this be?

Hello,

I think it may be a cracked or broken rib. You should do a X-ray of chest to check for broken bones. Take anti-inflammatory drugs such Advil or acetaminophen for pain. Reduce movements as much as possible. Use ice compresses.
