Hi I recently went to North Carolina on a business trip. One evening I went out to dinner and went back to the hotel room and started have serve pain under my breast (chest area). I felt my belly swollen as well. It felt like someone was stabbing me. This went on for 15 to 20 minutes or maybe it felt like that. At least 10 minutes. I went away on August 22 to the 24th. I explained this to my Sister thinking maybe it was an allergic reaction to the food. Last night September 8th this happen to me again and the pain also felt like it traveled to my leg. I just started a new job and feel very stressed.
Because costochondritis tends to manifest in the mid-chest area, near the sternum, you may experience pain under the left or right breast. Costochondritis often goes away on its own.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
