What Causes Severe Pain While Moving Arm Above The Head After A Surgery?

about two years ago I broke my shoulder and had surgery,

They put a plate and a lot of screws in it and also found a rotary cuff tear and fixed that. Now when I move my arm up above my head or push down to get out of a chair, it really hurts bad for a while
