What Causes Severe Panic Attack During 30 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

I have panic attacks a lot. Im 30 weeks pregnant and theyve gotten worse. The worst part is that my heart rate will jump to 160-175 and go down to 140 only to jump back up to 170 moments later. Is this normal during a panic attack or should i be worried about something worse? Also, my heart rate slows down if i get up and walk around and jumps back up when i stop moving.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The heart rate can increase with panic attacks, pregnancy can also be associated with an increased heart rate as well but you should consider assessment to make sure that there are no other underlying causes.

Assessment would include an ECG and blood tests (complete blood count and thyroid function tests).

A low hemoglobin (anemia) and high thyroid hormone levels can cause problems.

I hope this helps
