What Causes Severe Pressure Behind The Right Eye?

I ve been experiencing a pressure and mild to moderate pain behind my right eye for 2 months now. There are no pain meds that relieve the symptoms. I suffer from migraines, but they are a separate occurrence and those headaches go away with my triptan meds, and the eye pressure continues. My eyelid tremors occasionally and the eye gets watery. I have eliminated alcohol and caffeine, and exercise whenever the pain isn t too bad. i have tried chiropractors and cranial sacral therapy, and take herbal suplements for migraine preventative, but the pressure and pain continue.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an orbicular migraine.

I see that you already have used anti-inflammatory medication without results.

I recommend using prescription medications such as Triptans.

You should consult a neurologist for the prescription.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
