What Causes Severe Pressure In Head On Onset Of Orgasm?

i have been experiencing the rainbow swirls in my peripheral vision without a headache really. it does seem to clear up after taking Aleve or Tylenol. sometimes i get that blind spot in the middle of my vision also. I ve also experienced intense head pressure headaches on the onset of an orgasm...scared me really bad! i feel a pressure just under my jaw below my ears also. wasnt sure if i was going to pass out or die. those took about 30-45 mins to subside. do you think there s any relation between these or separate issues. I have seen my GP, but she didnt have any answers. Suggested an MRI of my head but I dont think the answers will be there. thank you

Hello and welcome.

An MRI head will help to rule out a few worrying possibilities, but I would recommend a Holter's ambulatory device to monitor your blood pressure and cardiac activity for 24 hours during which you should go about all those activities that cause the head swirling to be triggered including sexual intercourse or stimulation to cause an orgasm.

The other possibility is hypoglycemia and I would recommend a check on your blood glucose levels as soon as you experience the passing out sensation after orgasming, do not eat or drink anything and report to a clinic or hospital for a blood test immediately.
