What Causes Severe Pressure In The Lungs While On Brovana?
I had a problem I take Brovana and have had cancer in right lung and radiation and chemo on the same side last night my lung on that side from top to bottom felt like it was going to explode . I take antibotics and other medicine beta blockers and I am on diabetic medication could you tell me what could have happened.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
This medication does not work right away and should not be used for sudden attacks of breathing trouble. Your doctor must prescribe a quick-relief medicine/inhaler (such Albuterol, also known as Salbutamol) for sudden shortness of breath while you are using Arformoterol. You should always have a quick-relief inhaler with you.
Arformoterol is usually used in combination with other medications (such as inhaled corticosteroids). However, it should not be used with similar long-acting inhaled beta agonists (such as Formoterol, Salmeterol) since this may increase your risk for side effects.
Take care.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help you.
