Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I type slow, so bear with me... I am 55 years old. I go to a gym 3 to 4times a week and lift heavy weights. About 2 months ago, I injured my right shoulder somehow. I have eliminated all weight lifting with my upper body but the pain in my shoulder persists. Is there any recommendation you can make? (Mike)
The best thing you can do is to consult a bone specialist and get your joint X-ray. X-ray can only reveal if there is any damage to the joint. Appropriate treatment can help with the pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr K. V. Anand, Psychologist
