What Causes Severe Sore Throat, Dizziness And No Fever?

Within a matter of two hours I have an incredibly painful sore throat (red, swollen, burning, scratchy), feel sick to my stomach, and am dizzy. I've had a flu/H1N1 shot. I'm wondering if strep can come on this quickly or if I may be suffering from some other type of illness. I do not have a fever.
