What Causes Severe Soreness And Tenderness In Breasts After Menstruation And Dizziness?

Im having odd symptoms and not really sure what s going on. I don t think it s serious enough to see a doctor yet. Ok so here it goes, about 3 days after my last period my breasts got very sore and tender and haven t stopped since. I m not due for my next cycle for 12 days. I have nausea from time to time, dizziness sometimes, and more discharge than usual. I ve had 5 children and had a tubal ligation done on 6/21/13. I ve been looking online and I ll I can find is I m either pregnant or going through premenstrual symptoms. I m only 27. I didn t think that was a possibility yet. Please help, thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you had tubal ligation it can't be related to pregnancy. The breast soreness may be related to hormone imbalance or premenstrual symptoms. I don't think this is something to worry about.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
