What Causes Severe Stomach Cramps On The Right Side Followed By Vomiting?
My son has had several episodes of extremely painful stomach cramps on his right side. The symptoms are becoming more intense. We have taken him to the er 3 times thinking it was his appendix (it has not been). Now it has happened two weeks apart and when he has these attacks he looks very pail (almost grayish) and eventually throws up. Once he does his energy has been sucked out of him and he sleeps for 12 to 14 hours. I have been told that it sounds like a gull bladder attack, but the doctors said he was too young for that.?

Right-sided abdomen pain with vomiting are commonly seen with hepatitis and hepatitis is very common in children.
So in my opinion, you should take him to the pediatrician and get done a clinical examination, liver function test and ultrasound liver for the diagnosis of hepatitis.
