What Causes Severe Stomach Pain And Belching?

Last night I woke to very bad stomach pains that would come in waves. After a few hours the pain subsided but my stomach still feels uncomfortable and today I am belching a lot which I never do. What could be causing this as it happened a few weeks ago as well but that time I also was vomiting.

You have problem of severe stomach pain and belching may be because of gastric or duodenal ulcer.

Intestinal inflammation like celiac disease may ruled out.
Giardiasis can cause abdominal pain and bloting in stomach.

In gastroesophageal reflux disease cause abdominal pain and belching.
Irritable bowel syndrom may ruled out.
Gastritis cause abdominal pain and other symptoms.

Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
Abdominal ultra sonography is helpful for further diagnosis.
Endoscope is helpful for diagnose.
