What Causes Severe Stomach Pain, Cramps And Bloating After Colonoscopy?
Hello my father in law has been hospitalized for 3 weeks and after 5 scopes done, he was released and we were advised that they cannot pick up anything wrong with him. He was released from hospital without any medication. He is suffering from severe stomach cramps & pain & he s stomach is growing by the day. He is in agony. What could be the problem. What can we give him?

Hello,
It is quite common after colonoscopy.
Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
