What Causes Severe Stomach Pain?
I m a 56 year old male ..my stomach really hurts like really tight hard to con concentrate...sometimes is there anything over the counter I can take for it I m on asprin now ...81mg ....but I been taking them for the last 12 years now ....had a small stroke when I was 44

Hello,
You can have chronic gastritis or gastric ulcer. The aspirin might contributory factor in developing an ulcer. You can be prescribed a 2-week course of antacid like pantoprazole. If no improvement than endoscopy and urea breath test can be planned.
