What Causes Severe Stomachache After Drinking Beer?

My 22 year old daughter has been having severe stomach pain right after she drinks even the smallest amount of beer. This just started a month ago. She eats all sorts of bread and pastas--no problem. She has been drinking beer occasionally for 4 years without any problem. Any usggestions?

Hi
Since she's been drinking for past four years it's suggestive that she developed alcoholic gastritis.
Alcohol is an irritant to your mucosa and the effect it has is cumulative.
Since she doesn't have problems unless she's touching beer again I suggest she should stay away from it.
Also she could add yoghurt much often to her diet and avoid spicy/fatty meals. This would help for time being. You can seek a doctor's help if her symptoms are not getting under control despite above measures.
