Hello and welcome to HCM,
Intolerance to extremes of temperatures is seen in hypothyroidism.
Autoimmune thyroid deficiency is characterized by hypothyroidism and thus this is the most probable cause of intolerance to heat.
Correction of thyroid function tests after appropriate treatment will help to resolve the symptoms of hypothyroidism.
Thyroxine is given to treat the condition and synthyroid is a synthetic preparation of thyroxine.

Thanks and take care
