Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
My opinion is,you might have got primary focal hyperhidrosis. This is an autosomal dominant condition, means it is an inheritable condition and hence, both you and your brother might have been suffering from it.
Although my suspicion is what I have stated above, there are other conditions too that can cause similar manifestations like endocrine disorder (most commonly thyroid disease), neurological diseases, congenital conditions and list goes on.
For the time being, my thinking is you can have Fasting serum TSH done to rule out thyroid problem.
Please maintain good oral hydration, because you are losing both salt and water.
Please also avoid anxiety because that may further increase your sweating.
If the problem increases, you need to consult a physician for clinical examination and further evaluation.
Hope you are satisfied with my answer. If you have any further query related to this, please write back.
In case you have any new query in future, you can directly ask me questions @ http://www.HealthcareMagic.com/doctors/dr-kaushik-sarkar/68460. I will try my level best to help you.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushik
