General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are consistent with infected ulcer. Antibiotics will be the treatment of choice.

Go for a pus culture study and start antibiotics according to the culture reports. An ultrasound scan is required to rule out DVT( deep vein thrombosis).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
