What Causes Severe Tiredness And Weakness While On Lexapro And Melatonin?

i have taken generic Lexapro for over 8 years for esophageal spasams, I am tired all the tlme, cant sleep without melatonin and very depressed feeling. cant make myself get up and put clothes on to go anywhere. I have the desire I think but don t feel like getting dressed. my dr has changed my meds to different ones but I come back to Lexapro because it has less side effects for me. am I depressed and need to see a professional

Anxiety affects quite literally every part of your body. One of the areas it affects is the esophagus.Anxiety leads to many esophagus problems,when it causes these symptoms it can sometimes lead to other symptoms and fears that create more anxiety.In order to prevent this your doctor precribed laxapro.
Lexapro is an antidepressant belonging to a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors.Common side effects of Lexapro include drowsiness, diziness, sleep problems (insomnia).so your symptoms seems like laxapro side effects.This is a drug side effect and you are not depressed.Please consult your doctor for changing the dose or changing to other drug.
