What Causes Severe Tiredness While On Blood Pressure Medications?

I started High Blood Pressure meds 10mg three weeks ago. I used to walk 15000 steps a day with no issues. I am very tired now and can not finish a walk of 10000 and feel like I need a nap. Some days I have to lay down for 15 minutes so I am no so tired. Is this normal. I was 140 over 110 BP but not consistently. I think the medicine is Lisiparol I know the spelling is not correct

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, severe tiredness while on blood pressure medication as lisinopril indicates possible alteration in electrolyte balance as of sodium and potassium most likely. Kindly get a basic evaluation of your lab reports with your doc for further guidelines to control the tiredness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
