What Causes Severe Tooth Pain, Randomly Shifting From Lower To Upper Moles?
I have tooth pain that has shifted from lower to upper molers Hard to localize where it's coming from. The pain gets quite severe and changes and comes and goes. The dentist took X--rays. No infection or decay found. Thought it could be a problem around a crown
Well pain in teeth if it is not related to infected or decayed teeth can be due to deep gum infection or can be due to nerve related pain.. Other common case can be pain originating from jaw joint disorders. Teeth grinding or Bruxism habit and teeth clenching can also cause pain in teeth..
If you have a crown placed on the tooth and if it is causing pain in that particular tooth then it can be a cause of radiating pain to the entire jaw on the affected side.. So my suggestion is to get a Panoromic x ray done as it will help in evaluating all your teeth, jaw joints as well as maxillary sinuses.. You can also upload the same to me so that I can view it precisely and advise you accordingly.. As for now you can take painkillers like Ibuprofen to relieve pain.. Avoid stress and take proper rest..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
