What Causes Severe Twitching In The Eyes While On Spiriva And Breo Ellipta?

I have COPD. I am on Spiriva and BREO. I have been on this medicine for approximately 1.5 years. I currently have severe eye twitching and have been to three eye specialists/surgeons and eye lid specialists. All three ophthalmologists have concluded that it is not an issue with the eyes. I went to a neurologist who looked for signs of a stroke but had not solution to the eye twitching. It is worse in the left eye. My oxygen level is around 90. The twitching is getting worse with each passing day. Where do I go now? Where can I get help. I do have high blood pressure that s controlled with medicine and high cholesterol.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is just a muscle twitch and does not indicates any disease condition.

Generally, it will settle by itself without any definitive treatment.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
