What Causes Severe Upper Chest Pain?

Severe intermittent upper chest pain... not lungs, no cold or anything. Doesn't feel like my heart, no reflux or feeling of acid stomach. pain worsens when I bend forward or lie down. Breathing is difficult because all the upper chest muscles are in agony when I inhale. Any idea what it could be?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since your chest pain is associated with movements (bending), possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more.
But better to get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out bronchitis because you are having breathing difficulty too.
If PFT is normal then no need to worry much.
Musculoskeletal pain is more likely.
So avoid movements causing pain.
Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
Avoid bad postures in sleep.
Start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
