What Causes Severe Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

I had a period on the 21 it was light and about 2 days then stopped it was early because I expected it on the 25-27 .I had sex on the24 my husband said i was bleeding I wiped and it was a little blood but I thought maybe ending period blood well today is the 27 and I am bleeding like a real period
