What Causes Severe Vaginal Bleeding, Muscle Ache And Shortness Of Breath?

Yes. I am 45. I have diabetes and RA. I have already had two blood transfusions because my count was at 5. I have told my doctor that my cycle has been going on now for 5 weeks and is heavy. I have gone through four packages of pads and four boxes of super tampons. I had my blood checked yesterday and it is at an 8. Should I go to the ER. My muscles ache, I am short of breath and have been some what dizzy the past week.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the heavy bleeding then it is better to see the ER to stop the bleeding because it may cause the loss of volume and it could be life threatening, although menopause need to be ruled out in either of this case better to see the ER hope this information helps.
