What Causes Severe Vaginal Bleeding Post Total Hysterectomy?

This is about my girlfriend she is to embarrassed to ask. Anyway she had the surgery three years ago to stop her periods. Since then she has bled a little during sex on occasion. We got back together on Thursday July 9 and have had sex 8 to 12 times a day through Sunday July 12. She got real sore which is to be expected and bled a little. The problem is now it is wednseday July 15 and she is bleeding so bad she has to use a tampon. It just started out of nowhere while she was at the casino she went to restroom and her panties were soaked with blood. Could this be serious or Is it just overuse from not having sex for a month while I was out of town?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, welcome to HCM. Please dont waste time. only one thing i am scared is, if there could have been injury. Just get one check up with gynaecologist to be on safer side. My best wishes with you. Take care
