What Causes Severe Vaginal Pain After Intercourse?

Hi there, So My name is Mercy and I recently had sexual intercourse for the first time, as fine, but the pain began afterwards, as if my vagina closed up and eventually let go after a couple of days, before sex i used to have pretty bad cramps, and afterwards they got so much worse. Eventually after my period it went away, but now i still wasn t feeling well, so i slipped my finger in to see how far i could go and on my left side i felt a ball? should i be worried? thank you and hope to hear from you soon Mercy

Hi, I think it can be a bartholin cyst which you have felt on your left side. It can be the reason for pain. But cramps can be a menstrual symptom. Get yourself examined by a gynecologist. Hope it helps.
