What Causes Severe Varicocele Pain Along With Shrinkage In Penis Size?

Hi doctor.. I am 25 and i was diagnosed with both sided varicocelle 6 years ago the left side was grade 3 and right side was grade one.. the left one was operated and i was feeling much comfortable. But for the right one the doctor said to go under surgery after marriage dont know why.. But now the non-operated pains like hell , it has shrunk and the grade i can tell is more 3 now.. i just wana ask that is there any chance that the surgery wont work now.. cause my penis size is also decreased

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, first of all, let me clear that varicocele is not associated with reduction in size of penis in any manner. The varicocele pain is in relation with venous congestion of the vessels only. The severe varicocele pain can be managed with:
- Local application of ice
- Wearing loose inner wear
- Scrotal support over testicles
- Analgesic of best quality like Tramadol hydrochloride if no history of drug sensitivity
- Avoidance of smoking if involved
- Control of blood pressure
