What Causes Severe Vomiting After A Meal In A Child?

Hi, i have a. 21 month old son and once a day for the past 4 days he has vomited after a meal. Two of the days it was after supper and the other two it was after lunch. There is no fever or other cold/flu symptoms and he is very active and playing normal after he vomits. Also he seems to have discomfort and pain in his abdomen through the night when he is sleeping. Just wondering what the possible causes of his vomiting only once per day could be?

Hi, in my opinion, your child has stomach infection. If I was your treating doctor, i would have given emeset 5ml sos for vomiting and syrup oflox 5 ml PO three times a day for 3 days. However, since this is a prescription medicine, i advice you to meet the local doctor to confirm the diagnosis. I hope this has helped you.
