I have been vomiting since last night @11:30 and all day initially it was a small. Piece oof stromboli that I had eaten about 7:30-8:00. After that its all liquid I was drinking 7 up today 1 can. Since ishortly after it started. Then I event to Gatorade at noon and I have to use a bucket although I am onbthecsame colors and about. 8bsteps to the.bathroom it comes on so fast I have a mouth full so quick I have to use a bucket exhaused bu can t sleep due to the intervals of throwing up and constant severe nausea. This same thing happened on 8/13 cot a good 12 hours or more..
It is possible that the nausea and vomiting may be related to an infection of the gastrointestinal tract. This is the most common cause and can be viral or bacterial.
In most cases, the infection resolves on its own with only symptomatic treatment eg fluids and medication to help the vomiting Only a small amount of fluid should be used at time initially, if a lot is used, it would cause vomiting.
Initially only 1 tsp to 1 tbs should be used every 5 minutes, if tolerated, the amount can be increased Sports drinks such as gatorade should be used to give back both fluids and electrolytes.
