What Causes Severe Vomiting, Lump In Throat And Pain In Neck?

Last night i threw up, i remember throwing up so hard my head felt like it was about ri explode. after i threw up i felt this lump in my throat, i thought it would just go away in the morning but of course it didn t. And it has just gotten more painful, especially when u talk, move my neck, swallow.. Was wondering if this is normal ans will just go away in a few days or if i should seek a doctor to thoroughly check?

Hi,Good Evening.Thanks for the query to HCM Virtual Clinic.I went through the details of the query.
-Reason of Your problem- of lump in throat after and while vomitting is -persisting-mostly due to the strong acidic regurge you had , which caused strong oesophgo-pharyngitis.
-I would require more details to find out the cause of severe voimitting last night -? alchohol?tobacco?anxiety? spicy diet?.
-The pain while talk, neck moves,swallowing-is due to the severe acidic pharynigitis with severe retching during vomitting last night.
-This is due to the severe muscle injury and mucosal injury last night.
-This would recover and get relieved on its own -in next 2-3 days time.
-If worried more-Consult family doctor-who would-
a-Give tb-patno-d, for the acidic mucosal recovery by reducing acid regurge any more.
b-Tb-NSAID- for releiving muscle injury.
c-You should consult with Physician on advise of family doctor.
