What Causes Severe Watery Eyes And Nasal Drainage Despite Taking Levocetirizine?
I m a 45 year old flight attendant. I had endoscopic sinus surgery 3 years ago. The past 2-3 weeks, I ve experienced extremely watery eyes, heavy post nasal drainage from nose and ears, as well as migraines combined with extreme pressure and pain behind my eyes and in my ears, and waking up sweating profusely with difficulty breathing. I take levocetirizine daily as well as receive allergy shots every 7-10 days since September 2016. Do I need different medication, to discontinue the allergy shots, or return to my ENT for re-evaluation? Please advise. Thank you... Sincerely,
With your brief history, I think you are getting back the sinus infection Again. After Endoscopic sinus surgery, its a good practice to ensure regular follow up, irrespective of your presence or absence of symptoms. As you said, consulting your ENT surgeon is the best advice now.
