What Causes Severe Weakness In A Child While Suffering From High Fever?
Hi, my 5 year old was fine all day but suddenly became very tired, glossy eyes and said she was extremely weak (couldn t walk to the bathroom even). She has spiked a fever and the whites of her eyes are red now all within maybe 3 hrs. She s typically very active but no desire to even sit up and even fell asleep for a while.

Your kid was suffering from infection. The outcome of any infection is: tiredness, fatigue, weight loss, decrease of proteins in body and due to increased metabolism person feels tired and loss of energy as happening in your kid.
