What Causes Shadow Behind The Right Eye In CT Scan With Headaches?

i have just been to the doctors after experiencing head aches and she said i have a shadow behind my right eye, she is booking me in for a CT scan..... my mind went blank while i was in the surgery so i never asked what it could be... can you help me?

Thanks for writing in.

It is not clear what surgery you are referring to. A shadow behind the eye might be some finding on ophthalmoscopy, something like papilledema which can be a result of raised intracranial tension. This can lead to headaches, A CT scan will show if there is raised intracranial tension due to any medical condition.
