Hello,
Your symptoms may be associated with one of the following conditions like Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), inner ear concussion may cause transient positional vertigo, Ménière disease,
labyrinthitis,
vertebral artery insufficiency, cervical vertigo, or head extension vertigo, and
orthostatic hypotension.
Most probably yours is BPPV. Please do consult an
ENT specialist for examination and to arrive at a specific diagnosis. Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo may go away on its own within a few weeks or months.
But, to help relieve BPPV sooner, your doctor, or physical therapist may treat you with a series of movements known as the
canalith repositioning procedure. Tab. Vertin once daily is advised for 14 days. You must be aware of the fact that dizziness can cause falls.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
