What Causes Shaking In Jaw, Jaw Pain, Headache After Wisdom Teeth Removal?

My boyfriend just had all four wisdom teeth removed yesterday, and had the normal symptoms but just recently his jaw began to shake which is causing him horrible pains and a headache. This was the 3rd time and this one lasted for a good 2 minutes. What could be the cause?

thanks for your query,
the pain in the jaws, shaking and headache could be because of the strian on the jaw joints...when you keep your mouth open for long time during surgical removal of the wisdom teeth it causes more strain on the temporomandibular joint...the pain could radiate from the wisdom tooth region also...take a course of antibiotics and analgesics which are prescribed following your removal of the teeth..drink lot of water, take a multivitamin capsule like becosules...
take soft diet, do not open your jaw too wide, eat with spoon...
if it doesnt subside even after this, just take tab piroxicam 20 mg once daily for first day and twice daily for next four days...if any problem you can mail me back...wish you speedy recovery..
take care
