What Causes Sharp And Reoccurring Pain In Back And Hip?

I am female 65 yr. Pain in back on right side just below the beltline, just above the hip. It s a sharp reoccurring pain, whether sitting, standing or walking. My doc says there is nothing located there, if that is so I shouldn t have be in constant pain, right?

Hi
Thanks for positng your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.
The pain you describe may be due to hip osteoarthritis.Physical examination of the hip by the Doctor may not reveal any particular findings.I will suggest you get an X ray of the hip and see the Doctor. In the meantime, a pain drug like aceclofenac and a myorelaxant like miorel may help
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns
Best regards
