What Causes Sharp Belly Button Pain During 32 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi doc, I m 32 weeks pregnant with second baby. I m having kind of sharp pain in my belly button. Feels like it s streching and going to tear off. I called the helpline number and nurse ask me to call my GP. My GP said it might be I have eaten something and caused a gastric problem. And just ask me to rest. It s been 5 hours I still have pain specially when I m seatting and try to get out of bed. Baby moves normal. I don t have any other pain. What could be the reason for it? Thanks, Neha

Dear Neha
I can understand your concern
thanks for keeping your trust on us for your health care

the most common pains during 32 weeks of gestation might be due to false labour pains
this kind of pains will come in episodes and improve with rest

since the movement of baby is good and your bag of waters did not rupture you need to take rest

relax this going to subside soon
